Linda Gail Lewis in Maybole with The Peas - Oh what a Night!

The Peas are a Rockabilly / Rock And Roll outfit hailing from Ayrshire Scotland who have been going since around 1985 in various forms. The original band, The Blackeyed Peas,  sprung from a combination of band names including The Bluemoon Boys, Rocket 88, Union Avenue and Route 66, fronted by the late great Alan "Rocky" Watson on Slap Bass and Vocals. Rocky tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in 2005 and is dearly missed.

The band has played at Hemsby, Americana, The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, the Killkenny Festival and have just finished a third year touring with Linda-Gail Lewis in Scotland.

They have released three albums: Uncooked, Cool Off Baby and Rock It Boys. They are also featured in a collaboration album with Linda-Gail Lewis called Rockin Live In Scotland which was recorded by the Bands record label Carrick Records.
