Purpose & Goals

TO: Solicit funds and donations to support the preservation of America's own home-bred music genres - rockabilly and country.

TO: Continue to operate and maintain the Rockabilly Hall of FameŽ activities and its web site, preserve its 15 year historical archives and to expand its information base. Any income generated from the "Rockabilly Hall of Fame," and "That Bakersfield Sound" web sites will become assets of Rockabilly Music Preservation, Inc.

TO: Host rockabilly concerts using legendary performers and young talent that perform early rockabilly, rock 'n' roll, country music and Bakersfield music. This will give elder performers a chance to perform again and provide much needed exposure for the newer talent ... all for the purpose of keeping traditional music alive.

TO: Continue to maintain 501(c)(3) status.
