Grady Martin
Grady Martin was one of the most renowned, inventive and historically-significant American session musicians in country music and rockabilly.
As a member of Nashville A-Team, he worked thousands of sessions, playing guitar on hits ranging from Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman and Marty Robbins's El Paso to Loretta Lynn's Coal Miner's Daughter and Sammi Smith's Help Me Make It through the Night.
During a nearly 50-year career, Martin backed such names as Flatt & Scruggs, Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly.

Jeff Spencer R.I.P.
Jeff Spencer, the vocalist/leader of the Boston-based Memphis Rockabilly Band, died on Thur., Feb. 12. Spencer and his band played in Richmond frequently from the late-70s through the late-80s. They played on stage at High on the Hog six times during that decade. Memphis Rockabilly Band was the last band to appear on the High on the Hog stage at the last party in '06. According to Chuck Wrenn Jeff, who was 63, died of a heart attack.

"Bouncin' Bill Baker" was definitely a giant in the world of disc jockeys.
Coming from Pittsburgh PA, he worked at W.I.B.C. Radio (AM) in the 50's and 60's
here in Indianapolis, and was instrumental in supporting Art Adams, Ronnie Haig,
as well as many other Indiana and midwestern talents. Bill was also the DJ that was
chosen to introduce the "Beatles" when they made their appearance at "The
Indiana State Fairgrounds."
If I could pick one man that did the most for me as an individual talent,
it would be Bouncin' Bill Baker. I'm sure others will agree. He was also twice

Jimmi Accardi played backup guitar at a young age for early rock 'n' roll
hit-makers like The Classics ("Till Then"), The Moonglows ("Sincerely"),
The Belmonts ("Where or When"), and The Regents ("Barbara Ann"). Later he
toured as the guitarist for Chubby Checker. Other artists he recorded with
include Rupert Holmes, Eddy Dixon, and Harry Nilsson. He also toured as
lead guitarist behind Mickey Dolenz and Davey Jones of The Monkees. Some of
Jimmi's musical influences are Big Joe Turner, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little
Richard, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, King Curtis, Wynonie
Harris, Huey Piano Smith, Muddy Waters, and Larry Williams. Here are some
