A Message from James
I would like to thank everyone who played a part in making this festival so successful!
Without your help and support the first James Burton International Guitar Festival could
not have happened.
I have always wanted to so something that would get children interested in music and
encouraged to play the guitar. My parents sacrificed and bought me a Fender Telecaster,
and it changed my whole life. This wonderful charity foundation will make it possible for children
and young people to have a similar opportunity to learn to play a quality instrument,
enhance their creative abilities, and develop positive self-esteem.
I would also like to thank all my friends for coming and performing to make this
happening for THE KIDS. When I asked these incredibly giving people for their help, they said,
"yes, I'll be there." not asking for anything in return. We need to show everyone how much
this community appreciates their generosity.
I would like to thank my family for all their support. Words could never adequately explain how
wonderful and appreciative I feel.
Last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for all
His blessings in my life and for the opportunity to have made this festival and special concert
become a reality.
God Bless,
James Burton
