Her great vocal style combined with an amazing stage presence reminds you of some of the
best female singers and stars from the 1950's. Sue has been performing on many stages all over
Europe and America.
She worked with great legends and artists like Paul Burlison, D.J. Fontana, Rocky Burnette, Stan
Perkins, The Comets and Red West, to nowadays rockers like Number Nine, the Barnshakers, the
Stringdusters, the Hacienda Brothers and Darrel Higham.
From a young age Sue has been performing in different bands and acts and for the last decade has
been successful with her band Sue and the Flaming Stars.
Sue released a solo album in 2002 and with her Flaming Stars she recorded an
album with many of her own songs which came out in 2004. Sue attributed to the Jack Million Big Band
album 'Night and Day' that ended in the top ten hitlist in South Africa. Sue has starred in various
theatre shows, one if them being 'The Country Music Hall of Fame', and she has a lot of coverage on
(inter-) national tv and radio. Lately she has been singing gospel in Elvis-gospel services
throughout the Netherlands. She appeared on many international festivals like the Shake Rattle and
Roll Weekender, the Jackson Rockabilly Fest, Viva Las Vegas, the Midsummer Jamboree and the
Screamin' Festival.
Their first release contains original cuts written by Marco and Sue, amazing renditions of songs
like "Bye Bye Blues", with astounding guitarwork of Marco combined with the fantastic overdubbed
voices of Sue, bringing the incredible style of Les Paul & Mary Ford back to life again. An album
with a great variety going from jazz to rockabilly to swing and rock 'n 'roll. Enjoy!
