Jackie Burns was also with Wynn Stewart, as a featured female vocalist. She recorded several projects with Tom T.
Hall, did extensive demo work in Nashville and was great friends with Patsy Cline. She has some wonderful
stories to tell as well as Peaches Price. Her site is

THE TENNESSEEANS - THE FOOTHILL CLUB, LONG BEACH, CA, 1960.
Left to right-top row: BILLY MIZE (steel, vocals); ROY LANHAM (lead); GORDON TERRY (bandleader,
fiddle & vocals); CLIFF CROFFORD (bass, trumpet & vocals).
Left to right-bottom row: JIMMY WILSON (piano); MIKE FURY,(Kazak) (drums).
This is the very first band Jackie ever sang with. She was a novice and learned alot from these guys.
Roy Lanham passed away awhile back and we just lost Mike Fury, about a month ago. Billy Mize suffered a
stroke a few years back, but is doing well except for his speech. Cliff Crofford went on to write
the musical scores for several of Clint Eastwood's films. Jimmy Wilson married "Nudie" The Rodeo Taylors
daughter right after working with Gordon. Jackie doesn't know where he went after that? Gordon,
is in serious health and lives in Tennessee. Jackie went from the Foothill Club to Las Vegas with Wynn
Stewart's band. Then later on to Nashville.

She is going back in the studio soon and doing a compilation album with
Hal Wallis and working with Dick Shuey of [www.twangtownusa.com]. Jackie is getting a lot of airplay on some
re-released material that Jack Blanchard of Jack and Misty fame reengineered [www.jackandmisty.com].
Below is a picture of Peaches Price's daughter Connie (a wonderful singer) me and Jackie Burns. They performed
at that tribute I held for Bill Woods Oct 3rd, 1999.
