Texas George W wearing his blue jeans and Western Wear.

When I was growing up in Italy, many things influenced my growing passion for America: Rock'n'Roll, Western movies, bluejeans, American cars, Tom & Jerry cartoons, American girls in red bluejeans & ponytails, the stunning beauty of the Wild West, New Orleans, New York, rodeo, hot rods, etc., etc.

But there was something more, something perhaps more important than anything else..........
It was the American Dream, the quest for Freedom, the fight for Justice, the promise of opportunity, regardless of what your race, religion, or ethnic origin was.

President John F. Kennedy, a real American hero, who believed in freedom, and
in cutting taxes, the kind of Democrat who's hard to find these days.

Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, these were men of principle who took a firm stand against Soviet Communism abroad, and racial segregation at home. Nobody claims they were perfect, but nonetheless they stood for the American Dream.

Gary Cooper, Fair Play, that's the American Way, that's the Cowboy Way.

Gary Cooper believed in fair play. So did Roy Rogers and Gene Autry.

Fair play is what America was about.

A young Gary Cooper, from 1926, setting the tone for American values.

Fair play took a big dive a few weeks ago, when New Jersey law was blatantly violated by the Democrats with the complicity of the corrupt New Jersey Supreme Court. The law very clearly states that no candidate can be replaced less than 51 days before an election. The Democrats, with the judges' support, switched Torricelli with Lautenberg 34 days before the election. Many people had already voted on absentee ballots. The Republican candidate, Forrester, spent almost a year of his life, and millions of dollars, campaigning against Torricelli. Forrester was ahead in the polls by wide margins, that's why the Democrats dumped Torricelli.

Fair play took another big dive about a week ago during the memorial service for Minnesota Senator Wellstone who died in an airplane crash. The Democrats chose Mondale to replace him. The memorial service turned into a boisterous in-your-face campaign rally for the Democrats with four hours of free television time.

On TV you could see Mondale and Clinton making big belly laughs, and having a riotous fun time. Independent Governor Ventura and Republican Senator Trent Lott were booed. It was a disgraceful partisan event, not a somber memorial service for a lost comrade as it should have been.

Fair Play? No Way?

The Democrats thought they would sweep this election and that they would defeat Jeb Bush in Florida. But the American People, disgusted with these shenanigans, taught them a lesson they will not soon forget, by giving George W. Bush a huge electoral victory.

The Texas Cowboy, George W. Bush, is strolling on his ranch
carrying his cowboy hat.

The German and French Government and media frequently try to insult Bush by calling him a "Texas Cowboy".

Well, while I do have some solid disagreements with Bush, nevertheless I am happy to have a President who is a Texas Cowboy, and who stands up tall defending America, Israel, and freedom-loving people around the world.

!!! THE TEXAS COWBOY WINS !!!
